Here’s our indie rock playlist for March 2023, featuring the best in independent rock and punk music:
Rock in the start of warmer months with this indie rock playlist for March 2023, and here are a few of my favorites.
Dream. Sleep. (Laveda) – Laveda does a great blend of shoegaze and synth with obvious callbacks to the 80’s which are apparent from the first tape deck sounds of their “Dream. Sleep.”
Million (I Feel Fine) – We give you a lot of different genres early in this indie rock playlist for March, going right into I Feel Fine’s emo alt rock shout along number “Million” taken from their very good “The Cold in Every Shelter” record which I recommend you check out if you like this one.
pretty girl in la (girlhouse) – This chorus will get stuck in your head; great track from girlhouse in “pretty girl in la”.
So That’s What They Do in College (This Is Pointless) – This Is Pointless is keeping the 90’s midwest emo genre alive with tracks like “So That’s What They Do in College”. If you liked early Get Up Kids and bands of the like, this one is for you.
Weekends (Westkust) – Good rocker from a band which isn’t as active as I’d like in Westkust.
